About the Position

 

We are looking for an insightful, action-oriented Talent Development Analyst to join our growing Digital Learning Lab team. You will be part of a team that is passionate about building a better Canada and embracing the diversity and talent of Canada’s growing population. You are adaptable, keen to learn new things and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is open to candidates based anywhere in Canada. 

 

You will report to our Director, Digital Learning Lab and work in conjunction with the Foresight and Talent Development team to develop and implement research strategies and generate content and reports that support the success of our Pathways to Digital Jobs initiative and the Digital Learning Lab overall.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Pathways to Digital Jobs Initiative by converting program data into actionable learnings and content, including white-papers, reports, briefs, frameworks and learning materials
  • Use analytics, research methodologies and statistical techniques, as well as a variety of digital and analytical tools, to inform and underpin your work
  • Prepare, analyze, and summarize ongoing operational reports for use by various key stakeholders
  • Manage the content production calendar, including strategizing new content and materials to share with partners and key stakeholders
  • Write compelling copy and content with a wide appeal to readers
  • Work with contract writers, editors and designers as-needed
  • Support with internal communications between the Digital Learning Lab and the rest of the Supercluster team

  • You are an insightful, creative Analyst, proficient in targeted research, analysis, writing and reporting
  • You are interested in how people learn. You have wondered what makes some training experiences more effective than others and how people best absorb and apply new skills and information
  • You have an eye for detail and are excellent at managing your time
  • You are a strong technical writer who enjoys converting complex concepts into easy-to-grasp soundbites and compelling stories. You believe any topic can be interesting if described well enough
  • You are adept at using tools like Salesforce, Asana, and the Microsoft Office suite
  • You are a strong communicator. You can cut through to noise to figure out what the most important points are, and express those concisely in a way your audience can best understand
  • You are continually learning and improving your craft
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with lots of change
  • You are fluent in English, and it would be awesome if you were fluent in French, too
